Microfiction: My dog Tucker

 My Dog Tucker (100 word Story)

My dog Tucker is my best friend. He is the most loving pet I have ever had. He is always getting so sad whenever I leave the house or whenever I leave to go to school. He is an Australian Shepherd. He does not bark ever and always wants to be loved. He lays on his back every time he sees someone hoping they will rub his belly. He is caring and knows when someone is upset. He sleeps with me evert night when I am home. I take him on long walks and always cuddle with him. Sweet Tucker. 


Tucker on Walks (50 word Story) 


Tucker loves walks more than any dog I know.

His face lights up whenever I say the word walk. 

He pants and cries because he is so excited to go on the walk.

He sniffs everything during the walk.

Going on walks with Tucker is my favorite thing to do.

 Hello, my name is Kylie Markham and I am from Highlands Ranch, Colorado. I am a senior this fall at OU. I also have a younger sister, Lindsey, who is a freshman at OU as well. I love going to the beach with my family. We always go on a spring break trip together, it has been a family tradition since I was a little girl. I love to hangout with my friends and family, workout, go on walks, and to cook. I also enjoy skiing and swimming at the beach. My favorite type of music is country, but I also love pop, rock, and hiphop. I chose to attend OU because I knew I wanted to attend a traditional university with a strong alumni presence and a large greek system.

Week 7 Story: The Miraculous Mirror

Once upon a time, there was a sun goddess, whom was high of the heavens named  Amaterasu. She was known to sit in the middle of the night weaving a web of Doom. In which, this web of Doom was so big and symbolized the characteristics of joy and dismay. Amaterasu's weaving lead to Izanagi's daughter showing up. She was known for her Lotus-pure blossoms of Love with the flame of a rapturous star. She began to spin and interweave colors that represented important things to her, like life or war.  Thunder and lightening began falling from the sky. The angels were bowling. The Hall of the Gods were sending a message from heaven.  Suddenly, the demon of fire appeared in the mist of the ran. He was called, the Dragon of Hell. Amaterasu was frightened, she left her spinning and weaving. She raged at her brother in fear.  People prayed for a sign of heaven. They knew they needed more good in this world than the devil showing itself through fire and wind. They prayed for the Sun-Goddess
