Storybook Favorites

 After looking through all of the options for the storybooks, I have selected three storybooks that have caught my attention. The first one is called "Bedtime Stories." What caught my attention about this particular because it states "a warm campfire and a good night's sleep will do you some good." It makes me think of a cozy camp fire with everyone telling fun bedtime stories around the fire. I also found this storybook to be interesting because there were already four tales posted and there was a YouTube video on the main page of the storybook. The design of the storybook also attracted me because it mimics a campfire and camp scene perfectly. The second storybook is called "OU's Haunted Halls." What drew me to this storybook was the fact that it was related to OU. I personally believe in ghosts and spirits so I found it interesting that there was a storybook about OU's hauntings. I also obviously love OU, so reading anything about OU and its' history is interesting to me. I also was attracted to seeing pictures of OU's campus, and it made me wonder which halls of OU are actually haunted. I think this storybook will be interesting and educational because I get to learn about hauntings that are going on our college campus. I also found this storybook to be interesting because the title stood out to me right away because OU was mentioned. The final and last storybook that interests me is "Magical Mermaid Tails." When I was a little girl, I used to love playing mermaids with my friends and watching movies about mermaids. I have always been fascinated with the mythical creatures of mermaids, therefore I believe I would enjoy reading these storybooks. Overall, I am extremely excited to read more stories from all of these storybooks.

Week 7 Story: The Miraculous Mirror

Once upon a time, there was a sun goddess, whom was high of the heavens named  Amaterasu. She was known to sit in the middle of the night weaving a web of Doom. In which, this web of Doom was so big and symbolized the characteristics of joy and dismay. Amaterasu's weaving lead to Izanagi's daughter showing up. She was known for her Lotus-pure blossoms of Love with the flame of a rapturous star. She began to spin and interweave colors that represented important things to her, like life or war.  Thunder and lightening began falling from the sky. The angels were bowling. The Hall of the Gods were sending a message from heaven.  Suddenly, the demon of fire appeared in the mist of the ran. He was called, the Dragon of Hell.
